Time and Money
You can pour time and money into getting families to your website, but if the site doesn’t guide them to take the next step, all that effort leaks away. A beautiful design isn’t enough. Your website has one job: turn a curious parent into a booked consultation. Here are seven things every ABA center’s site needs to do that job well.
1. A clear, reassuring headline
Within a few seconds, a parent should understand what you do, who you help, and that they’re in the right place. Skip clever slogans. Something direct and warm (“Compassionate ABA therapy helping children across [your area] thrive”) does more work than anything vague or cute.
2. An obvious call to action
The single most important button on your site is the one that lets a parent reach out. Make it impossible to miss, use it in more than one place, and phrase it around the parent’s goal: “Book a Free Consultation” beats a plain “Submit” every time.
3. Fast load times, especially on mobile
Most parents will find you on their phone, often late at night after a long day. If your site takes more than a few seconds to load, a large share of them leave before they ever see your content. Speed isn’t a technical nicety, it’s the difference between a lead and a bounce.
4. Proof that you’re trustworthy
Parents are handing you something precious. Reviews, credentials, insurance information, photos of your real space and team, and a warm “about” story all quietly answer the question every parent is asking: can I trust these people with my child?
5. Answers to the questions they’re already asking
A simple FAQ that addresses insurance, waitlists, what to expect, and how to get started removes the friction that keeps parents from reaching out. If they have to email you just to learn the basics, many won’t.
6. Mobile-friendly, thumb-sized everything
Buttons big enough to tap, text large enough to read, forms short enough to finish one-handed. A site that fights the parent on a phone loses the parent on a phone.
7. A short, welcoming contact form
Every extra field costs you inquiries. Ask for just enough to start a conversation (name, contact info, and a line about their child’s needs) and let the rest come later. The goal is to make reaching out feel easy, not like paperwork.
A website that gets these seven things right doesn’t just look professional, it actively grows your caseload. Every visitor who lands on it is met with clarity, reassurance, and an easy next step.
